Capitol National Orchestra concert

As they do every year, the Capitole National Orchestra invites you to a spectacular concert.

This is a great opportunity to discover or rediscover an unforgettable musical experience in one of Toulouse's most iconic venues: the Halle aux Grains, renowned for its exceptional acoustics.

2026 Programme

The Capitole Nationale Orchestra presents a French-American programme especially for students:

  • Maurice Ravel, Concerto pour la main gauche
  • Aaron Copland, Appalachian Spring, suite pour orchestre
  • Maurice Ravel, Boléro

The concert will be conducted by Bar Avni, winner of the 2024 La Maestra competition, and will feature pianist Bertrand Chamayou, a former student in Toulouse who is now an international acclaimed soloist.

Current students of the Toulouse Conservatory and IsdaT will also join the orchestra, following an academic week of preparation under the muscicians’ supervision.

In partnership with the cultural departments of the universities and ENAC, the Toulouse Community of Universities and Higher Education Institutions, and the Toulouse-Occitanie CROUS.
